Frontal Hair Restoration for Advanced Pattern Hair Loss
This 58-year-old male patient had a mature Norwood classification of 5/6 for hair loss. His cosmetic goal was to restore his previous hairline. After consultation with Dr. Wasserbauer and based on the extent of his hair loss and fine straight hair, he decided to restore only the front half of his scalp. He also elected to have a FUT strip harvest procedure, so he did not have to shave his head.
Before and one year after FUT hair transplant.
Dr. Wasserbauer transplanted 2,488 hair grafts, a total of 4,159 hairs. He has been prescribed Propecia and minoxidil to maintain his existing hair.
