FUE Hair Transplant Close-up Comb-through Video after 2,900 Hair Grafts
This 31-year-old male patient already had Norwood stage 4 hair loss, with only a thin forelock remaining. He used his side hair to create a combover and camouflage the extent of his hair loss.
Before and 12 months post-op,
Dr. Wasserbauer discussed medical and surgical options. The patient was planning on getting married in about one year and medical therapy first was not an option. He wanted the option to trim his hair short in the back and, therefore, selected follicular unit extraction (FUE) as the surgical harvesting method for the grafts to avoid a linear donor scar.
Front hairline view. He now has a full and natural hairline after only one session.
On the day of his procedure, Dr. Wasserbaur harvested 2,910 hair grafts for a total of 6,301 hairs. All the grafts were inspected under microscope and inserted via DHI with hair implanters. He was also prescribed oral finasteride for hair loss maintenance.
The after photos were taken during his 12-month follow-up appointment and Dr. Wasserbauer filmed combing through his donor and newly transplanted hair to show the incredible naturalness of his result.
