Say Goodbye to the Combover! 3,000 FUE Hair Transplant Video

45-year-old male patient. He was a Norwood hair loss classification 5. His hair was dark and straight, with an average donor density. He was camouflaging his hair loss by combing the hair on the sides of his head over. This comb-through video below was taken after 12 months post-op. He is also on hair maintenance medication.

After consultation with Dr. Wasserbauer, it was determined that he would need approximately 3,000 hair grafts. Dr. Wasserbauer transplanted 2,925 hair grafts, for a total of 5,927 hairs, harvested via FUE but with her “Zoom Haircut” approach so that the top and sides of his head did not need to be shaved (i.e. he could face the camera on Zoom with no problem!) and he could continue to comb-over the bald area until his new hair grew in.
