Dr. Sara Wasserbauer Named Finalist for “Best Hair Restoration Surgery” at the AMWC Aesthetic Medicine Awards

Dr. Sara Wasserbauer has been named a finalist for the prestigious “Best Hair Restoration Surgery” award at the Annual Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) in Monaco.

The AMWC meeting is widely regarded as the largest international conference in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine, bringing together thousands of leading physicians, researchers, and innovators from around the world. The awards recognize outstanding contributions and excellence in aesthetic medicine across multiple specialties.

Dr. Wasserbauer has been an active participant and educator at AMWC for many years. She first began teaching at the conference in 2017, when she presented on advances in robotic hair restoration technology. Since then, she has continued to contribute to the global conversation on innovation and best practices in hair restoration surgery.

Being selected as a finalist for Best Hair Restoration Surgery is especially meaningful because the recognition comes from votes by fellow physicians and peers in the field.

Dr. Wasserbauer's submission was for her groundbreaking Sibling Allogenic Hair Transplantation after Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant with Chemotherapy and Chronic Graft-Versus-Host Disease-Induced Alopecia.” The event will feature over 500 speakers from around the world and across 200 sessions covering the many areas of cosmetic and aesthetic medicine.
