Sara Wasserbauer MD and California Hair Surgeon are fully committed to these transparency standards to ensure all patient-facing content is accurate and ethically presented.  Federal regulations now require explicit disclosure for photorealistic AI to prevent consumer confusion. If a synthetic persona could reasonably be mistaken for a real doctor or patient, it must be clearly labeled.

The FTC’s 2026 focus on preventing “AI-Washing” mandates that all medical claims be backed by truthful evidence. Sara Wasserbauer MD and California Hair Surgeon comply by using zero AI for clinical outcomes.  We use only verified human photos, including real botched results, to accurately educate consumers (for example, on the risks of unlicensed clinics), and to build trust in our own superior outcomes.  We are unafraid of our own results.

We will occasionally use AI to power a creative message, but this will be strictly for “lifestyle” and illustrative storytelling (e.g., depicting the experience of a patient seeking help).  We never use AI to simulate a real “before and after” result, and we ensure our clinical education remains grounded in documented, human evidence.
